There's something about San Miguel de Allende that feels suspended between time and memory. The Volkswagen Beetle — known locally as the Vocho — has become part of the town's living texture, as familiar as the cobblestones and ochre walls. This one wears its journey proudly in rust and faded red, moving through a rain-wet corner where the cobblestones hold the color of the sky.
The bar Bar San Miguel once echoed with music and conversation but has long since gone quiet. Shot on Lomo CN 400 film with a Canon AE-1, this photograph carries the warmth of Mexican light and the quiet poetry of places that remember.
