The humble Volkswagen Beetle—known locally as the Vocho—has become part of the town’s living texture, as familiar as the cobblestones and ochre walls. Some gleam with fresh paint; others, like this one, wear their journeys proudly in rust and faded red.

The bar Bar San Miguel, once echoed with music and conversation but has long since gone quiet. Shot on Lomo 400 film with a Canon AE-1, this photograph carries the warmth of the Mexican light and the quiet poetry of places that remember. Created as a limited edition of 40 prints in 2019.
