The Illusion of Yes – The Glass Between – Limited Edition Fine Art Photography – Los Angeles
This window was difficult. The angles, the reflections, the glass itself — so many natural obstacles between me and the image I saw and felt.
There was something peaceful about her. Something exotic. Sensual and forbidden and yet somehow inviting. Something about her stopped me — the kind of thought that reminds you what it means to be human on the other side of the glass.
She is not real. That is the point. That is the glass between.
This series emerged over years of walking with a camera — not from seeking subjects but from the quiet encounters that happen along the way. I never go looking for mannequins. They simply appear, caught between reflection and reality, waiting in storefront glass like accidental actors. In their frozen gestures I recognize something human — vulnerability disguised as perfection.
Not all windows are equal. Some reveal more than they reflect, depending on how long we stop to look.
