Returning to my car after photographing skateboarding in Venice Beach, I looked up and found this quiet urban performance: high tops strung across the wire, their shadows drifting like musical notes along the wall. Photographed in Venice Beach, California, 2010 on Kodak T-MAX 400 film with a CANON AE-1.

Printed on museum-quality, acid-free fine art photographic paper with archival pigment inks for rich detail and longevity.
