Title: “Surfing Jurassic Park” - Costa Rica 1997
In Costa Rica in the Nineties, we had a surf spot we called Jurassic Park — we had to navigate around the crocodiles just to reach the break. This photograph was taken near that spot, capturing the risk, freedom, and raw beauty that defined surfing in those days. The original 19 x 13 print was finished by hand with India ink, a small brush, and a dip pen, giving each border a spontaneous, organic edge.
